Preparation

At GI Specialists of Georgia, we schedule two types of appointments: office visits and procedure visits. If your appointment with us is for a regular office visit, there is no special medical preparation required. During your office visit, there is a small chance that your physician will request special tests. In that situation, your physician will inform you of any necessary preparations at that time. 

If you are scheduled to undergo a procedure, such as a colonoscopy, there are things your must do prior to the test. For information on how to prepare for your procedure, visit Procedures.
