Insurance and Billing

GI Specialists of Georgia accepts most major HMO and PPO plans (see list below), but please confirm that we are participating with your insurance plan when scheduling your appointment.   

We collect all payments, including co-payments, at the time of service. There is a returned check fee of $30.00 on all returned checks.

For HIPAA compliance and to protect your privacy, all questions will be researched and one of our staff will contact you by telephone to provide an answer.

To expedite a response, please be sure to include your telephone number and the best time to reach you.

Please remember that benefits are between you and your insurance company. If your insurance company has not paid your claim within 30 days, please notify them to have them resolve it. We are not responsible for resolving insurance payment issues.
